I decided to become a teacher in my senior year of high school.  I was undecided whether to major in art or vocal music.  By the end of my senior year I knew music was the best choice.  I chose Viterbo Universtiy in La Crosse WI, and earned my bachelors degree in vocal music education in 1997.

Some of my other interests are reading, drawing, painting, traveling to Florida and collecting dolls.  I am also an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan.  GO HAWKS!
